March 9 We will be closed for skiing and snowshoeing on Wednesday. We have a base of 12-16 inches. We plan to be open on Thursday from 10-4. All trails will be open and groomed with tracks set. Good Spring Skiing. Rentals are available. Used equipment for sale.
Pancakes are available on Saturday and Sunday from 8-2 thru April 11. Sugar House is open. |

Thank you for skiing at Northfield Mountain for the 2009-2010 season. The trails will be closed for all uses until all the snow and ice melts off and the trails firm up for foot traffic (typically the end of March - early April) trails will open for horseback riding and mountian bikes around the last week in May. See you in the late spring or summer. |

Spring conditions: frozen granular in the morning softening as the day warms:by 11:00 AM. Great skiing in the fields today. 22-25 inches in the woods and 12 inches in the fields. All 40 Km of trails are open. 25 groomed: 16 tracked and 9 skate groomed.

Excellent spring skiing conditions expected today . High temp. 45 is forecast. I will be grooming and setting new track as the sun warms the snow. Best skiing between 11 and 4. All trails will be open. 18 - 24 inch base.
